Kenya has the talent and what we need is an ecosystem that turns that talent into jobs, businesses and lasting prosperity.
Under Eliud Owalo’s leadership, sports will be transformed into a serious economic sector through:
~Medical and pension protection for athletes who have represented Kenya.
Stronger governance and player protection across our local leagues.
~Talent centres and county sports hubs to identify and nurture talent from the grassroots.
~Modern sports infrastructure, including indoor basketball arenas and high-altitude athletics centres.
~Sports entrepreneurship and investment, including incentives for sponsors, local sports manufacturing and professional leagues.
Our athletes should not retire into neglect. Our youth should not have to abandon their talent because of lack of opportunity.
It’s time to build a sporting nation where talent creates opportunity and sports creates wealth.
